Therefore, proper foot care, particularly if you have diabetes is essential if you want to minimize the potentially dangerous affects of diabetic foot problems. Foot ulcers are usually what sends diabetics to the hospital for treatment and/or amputation. The combination of diabetic foot neuropathy and foot ailments, such as bunions, cuts and burns can cause foot ulcers. You can avoid most foot ulcers with proper foot care and regular doctor visits.
